I thought the title might grab the attention of some (especially ammo collectors) - I have owned the following for quite a while now - about 44 years. The .50 BMG case and bullet help give a visual scale:

These are quite rare - less than 60,000 were originally manufactured. About 56,000 of those were expended by the British Army in Northern Ireland. One of these featured in S8E10 of Pawn Stars.
It could be fired from both a modified and lengthened Very pistol named the L67 or the Webley Schermuly Riot Gun.
