Hi All, I have an older .410 that has a 2 inch chamber. I bought shells for it years ago from a place in Kamloops or Kelowna. The ammo was imported from england. Anyone know of any suppliers that I can contact for 2 inch .410 shells in Canada or does anybody have any suggestion on reloading em. They are roll crimped with a cardboard cover over the pellets. Any loading info would be helpfull too. I've saved a bunch of hulls just in case.

I would use regular hulls, cut them down to 2", load them with 2.5" data except instead of crimping use over shot cards and glue (I usually use hot glue and haven't had a problem.) For 12ga I load 3" hulls with 3.5" load data and cap it off with card and glue instead of a crimp. The internal volume is the same since the last 1/2" is only really used for the crimp. No issue running them in 3" chambered shotguns since the pressures are the same.

.303 brit brass fire formed and cut down works nicey in older guns with 2" chambers its most likely not going to handle a hotter 2 1/2" load

old stand by for the 2" is a paper or brass hull with 20 to 25 grains of fffg blackpowder(not 777 but pyrodex is ok if needed) and 5/16 oz shot ive used these in my modern .410 with a 12" barrel with number 12 shot its a good pest load at close range (in barn/shed load for me)

Gamebore would have likely been the brand of 2 inch shell you bought. Get a hold of Kent Cartridge in Ontario and see if there are any left on the shelf, I think the number is 1 800 844 1880? Been a while since I called them. FS
