2 Gauge shotgun

Looks like fun if you want to shoot up you old car or something, But if you need something like that to take out ducks you must have more money than brains.

again thow looks like it would be fun to shoot.

A punt gun from back when commercial duck hunting, or shooting, was a method of providing fowl for sale in public markets and for restaurants. A lot of this shooting was done in the New England states and wreaked a terrible toll on water fowl.

I remember way back when, G&A magazine published an article about the 4ga - and although it could indeed be shoulder fired - the recoil from it was far more than most could handle. I had no idea 2ga even existed... It is insane.

The recoil from a 4bore shotgun really is not that bad because the average sxs weighs 14-19lbs and is firing around 3 1/2' oz of shot if you compare a 8lb 12ga with a 2oz load its probably worse than the 4bore. A close friend of mine recently aquired a 4bore and I will post a video of me shooting it in the future. The 4bore rifle is another story as it fired a much heavier load with a 1850grn bullet (3 1/2oz of shot is 1500grns) I do not even want to fire that one even once.
