if i remember correctly (correct me if im wrong im still an AR newb), its a "friction" clamp. when you adjust it to length desired you squeeze the front lever and it clamps the stock very tightly to the buffer tube making extremely minimal movment.

am i right?

It is indeed a Magpul CTR in what looks like flat dark earth.
The large lever (close to the receiver) is for making the length adjustment. The smaller lever is a friction lock which reduces movement of the stock on the buffer tube.

Those levers booth look like they're in the unlock position.

oh i got it backwards i thought the front lever was for the friction lock...all well thanks for clarifying it to me

Every time I see pictures of people using CTR stocks, the front lever is never pushed in. I then wonder why they even got it instead of the MOE stock.

I always lock mine in, the way I adjust it my trigger finger sits on the friction lock anyways. The MOE I got for my 22 isn't really all that impressive, I wish I had gotten a CTR instead.

The friction lock makes it much more solid feeling, although it may not affect anything but the wiggle can be a little distracting.

Stupid lack of coffee. As Stevo points out I got it backwards. Front lever = friction lock, rear = length adjustment.

This is what i get for posting before noon.
