+2 Mags for CZ Shadow 2

Well, that changes things. I guess if you sand down the top of the +2 bases to fit, being plastic, it would just weaken it and make it prone to cracking off when dropped on the ground.

I just got me some Corwin Arms Italian mags today and was thinking of those +2s myself. Good to know, thanks. Guess they're going to be used as is or pickup some aluminum ones that can be fitted. I just need the CFO to approve the trasnfer so I can get my darn Shadow2 already. ARGH!

I thought about doing this but you would need to take too much material off to make it work, enough material that it may not work at all.

I have a CZ Tactical sport orange in 40 and the gun was shipped with the crappiest 1/3 plastic mags I have ever used. Anyone know where I can buy (CZ CUSTOM) the 17 rd all metal ones in the states but they will not pin them and hense they cannot be shipped to Canada. Can anyone point me in the right direction

you could try Robin Sebo for the mags, he may pin them for you for a small fee

I got my Mec-Gar +2 bases from Marstar today. Sure enough, they were too thick to work with the Italian made Corwin Arms mags. I had to remove about 50% of the lip material to get to lock up in my Shadow2. I did a few drop tests with full mags and empty and they survived. We'll see how they hold up in the long run.

Filing down by hand with 60grit sandpaper on a flat surface and fitting took about 20mins. Brought out the belt/disk sander for the other 3 which took about 10min each.

You need an Irunguns type service in the reverse direction.

there is borderview they charge 300 usd plus 25$ de registry fee and then laser engraving with blaine, wa and year. oh and also 5% of the value all in USD. gets really expensive quickly.
