I just finished these 2 Blazing beauties for a customer. They turned out very nice. H&R and a Iver Johnson.
I wasn't going to do anymore but I was lucky enough to find some willing shotguns that were begging to go under the transformation.

Here are SOME of the old barrels from other projects. 10, 20, 12 gauge.

You would think after building over 30 of these........I would own 1 for my self,...nope. Every time I show mine to some one,...they buy it, LOL
My 2 sons and my daughter and all my friends have 1...and I don't.

Some checkering would be beneficial...... they look pretty, polished, smooth and slippery.

Polish only?
Yes & no. After extensive sanding, wire brushing, and stoning,..I do a "Metal transfer" to them . It gives a blue look to the steel. oh, the MT transfer is my little secret. LOL Thanks for asking.

Interesting. So the ones above have not yet been finished? They look polished on my monitor.

I like the look of the classic tang action lever, but there is some risk with a smooth pistol grip that the hand slides forward on heavy recoil and the web of the hand catches on the end of the lever. I like to keep my thumb to the right firing guns like that...... :)

Its hard, because I have no shot guns in stock right now. But if you want 1 for sure,..I'll try find a good downer and build one in your choice of colors.

what do you charge for your work on average? And do you do double barrel versions like the actual road warrior?

So are you just living them in the white, or are those guns chromed/nickeled/etc.?

You talk about a blue color, but they look totally white on my screen?

Also, are those 12's? And why no front bead sights on them?

A front bead sight on a pistol length shot gun ?......LOL do you think it would help. Short range scatter gun. The goal is to kinda make them look like pirate pistols.
The blue does not show up in camera pictures but it does in the sun light. Its very subtle, but it makes a difference.
Hope this answers your questions.

I've always felt sights helped at any length, but every shotgun configuration comes down to preference. Thanks for responding!
