2 point sling set-up

Any suggetions on how to best mount a two point sling on a normal front sling swivel that's below the barrel as opposed to on the side? The front part of my sling is in the way as it hang's sideways. I'm thinking of going to a single point. What do you guy's recommend? Thx.
