Is there any possible way in Canada for an ordinary person to obtain a carry permit and my second question is whether or not theres some loop hole somewhere so a person could still get a prohibited license.

Thanks guys :D

No. There is a provision in the law for a self-defence carry permit, but government policy denies their issue and has for eons.
No new prohibited FA permits have been issued since 1 Jan., 1978. The only way to obtain prohibited handguns is to inherit from an immediate family member with a bunch of conditions. One of which is that the handgun must have been made prior to 1946.
