2 Reloading Questions/Opinions 6.5-284 and 5.56

First: I have the opportunity to buy 2 matching 6.5-284 rifles for my upcoming 2 boys, 1 now taking Hunters Safety. I'm looking for lighter starting loads for this calibre in 120?? grain. It's for a Savage LWH with 20 inch barrel. It would mean all 3 of us have the same rifle.

Second: Has anyone used AR Comp? I've got 2 pounds coming and I'm wondering if anyone has used it for .223 target loads yet? I'm think of trying it in my "DMR" AR with a 20 inch Rainier barrel. Out to 500 maybe?

I don't know what powders you have but hodgdon's has data up on there reloading site for the 6.5x284 and that weight of bullet. I have never reloaded for it. http://www.hodgdonreloading.com/data/rifle
