Looking between getting one of these 2 savages, either the Model 12FV, or the Model 11FNS. The reason I chose these 2 is because they come left-handed and will shoot .223. What I want to know is any differences in accuracy, carrying, etc.

What do you guys think?

And to clarify the purpose and use it will be serving, it will be a general coyote and varmint gun, as well as informal target shooting out to, no more than 500yds

So there will obviously be a difference in velocity between the two, with slight edge to the 12, but what about accuracy? Will there be much difference?

My Savage 11FLNS (lefty) in .223 is very accurate with near maximum loads of H335 and 55 grain Nosler Solid Base Boat Tails, which aren't made any more. I'll try Nosler Ballistic Tips when the SBBTs are gone.
It's a 1 in 9 twist so it should work well with everything from 40 or 45 grain to about 70 grain.
The 11FLNS will be a bit lighter, so if you are going to do much walking with it that might be a consideration. As far as accuracy is concerned, I doubt you'd be disappointed with either.

Same rifle. Different stock and barrel. The 12FV's barrel is heavier. 2.25 lbs difference in weight. The extra weight won't be a bad thing for long range shooting.
