2 stage triggers

Seriously, that's it? I was hoping MysticPrecision or one of the other dealers would have something... unless it's a faux pas to snipe business.

Can't believe that would be it for 2 stages.

Maybe the Savage is so good it couldn't benefit from a 2 stage trigger:rolleyes:
Hate the accutrigger, and the thing doesn't grab the sear unless you cycle it just so... 1/3 times. Absolutely unacceptable for competition, on top of being an accutrigger. I know, I'm in the minority, but I know I don't like it.

I'm a big fan of the Xtreme Mod 22, sets really light and is a smooth trigger. Pricey for what you get but it has completed my rifle!

Edit: Mine is the tactical with bolt release

A trigger under 2 lbs. on a hunting rifle isn't safe.
However, Timney's go under. The model of your M700 matters. They make a replacement for the Accutrigger too. Be kind expensive doing both at once though.

Who said anything about a hunting rifle. This is the precision forum.... Maybe 2lbs on a hunting rifle isn't safe for you, for others it could be fine.
