2 Years with a Grizzly

Location
Vancouver
Well I guess you could say i'm a happy Canada Ammo customer I've had my 12.5" Grizzly with ghost ring sights for 2 years now. I would and have been recommending this gun to everyone. This gun goes everywhere with me I tried to take good care of it in the begining but it quickly turned into my camping gun and confidant. I have had 1000's of rounds through it with no misfires and the ghost ring sights make it very accurate for a shot gun. I have recently started hunting grouse with it 2 so far and no damage to the meat. I really couldnt ask for a better gun it may be chinese it may cost alot less than its counter parts but i would for sure recommend it to anyone. So i guess Canada Ammo keep fighting the good fight you do good work H:S:

x2 Got the same gun (used) this year, only with a Knoxx stock. I don't shoot it much (yet) but absolutely love it. If I could change one thing, it would be the finish, or lack of it. However, a pretty unique package at an incredible price~there are going to be compromises.

Once I figured-out that she needed a little TLC after shooting in wet conditions, we've gotten along just fine. :)

Grouse are something I'm keen on trying next year, very interested in hearing that it's served you well in that regard. Feel free to PM me any more info. on that, chokes, etc.

x3, got mine as soon as CanAm had advertised the 12.5 plain barrel (no choke tubes) and it's never failed me!

Cheers
Jay

I recently sold my 15" Grizzly-mag, and although I will maintain it was the right thing to do as I really needed the money for hunting season. I still do miss it. Hope the new owner is having a blast with it :)

Im currently waiting for my 12.5" tube fed ghost ring. It'll be my first shotgun and I cant wait to see how different loads feel.

The only decision left to make is wiether or not to replace the stock with a LOP hogue for a lower profile...

I have the hogue LOP on mine and i've had a grizzly 8.5 with stock stock the hogue is quality and makes the gun look good I say get it

My only dislike on the 8.5 stock, and I imagine the rest of the griz stocks, is the weight. They are heavy. The knoxx is substantially lighter, even an original 870 synthetic is much lighter.

Yeah but the knoxx has a higher profile and cost than the LOP hogue... Im 98% set on the LOP hogue, my only concern is that it is too short...

I guess I can always try it and maybe sell it on the EE. Gotta love this great community!

F*** I just realized the grizzly I ordered is "Fixed cylender choke". The pics made it look like it came with removable chokes....
