Hi all,
Does anyone have first hand experience with the combo above using 140 gr accubonds or ballistic tips? I have those 2 powders on hand so I'd like to be able to use those if I can.

Thanks

Try them both to determine your own results. I had pretty good luck with Varget, but IMR4350 appeared to be a bit better. My loads come in best at the lower end of Nosler's load data.

H4350 is an extremely accurate powder in that case, my best results were obtained with it.You results may vary but you have two good powders there, test em, try em, pick the best!

Varget may get your better more consistent velocities in the shorter barrel with the faster burn rate.

barrel length does not make much difference re; powders.

I would load 5 rounds of loads in 1 gr increments from Start to Max of both powders to see if the rifle shows an accuracy preference.

I value accuracy over everything else.

I had slightly better luck with varget and 140 accubonds than I did with H4350. H4350 was the close second and I mean close, so either way you will be good. Just load to see what your rifle likes and go from there. My 7-08 is a 22" bbl and I am hitting 2830 fps with the 140 accubonds.

I have been looking at those two as well for mine. I have tried loads with 760, 4064, bloc-2 with 139 and 145 grain pills. They are all very close with 4064 being the better for accuracy and blc2 for speed. I am going to do a load up for the 120 BT from nosler and want to try an extreme powder so I am looking at varget for the cross over for light and heavy.

I use H4350, Varget, W760 with 139 SST/IB's... 44 gr Varget is my best load... CFE223 is cracking with 120's.

i would start with varget. if you don't get good results and you probably will try 4350. the case is getting pretty full with 4350.
