Anyone know of a good place to buy a 20" AR15 Barrel?

I ordered a Bushmaster M16A2 20" Barrel on December 7th 2012 and still nothing and no ETA. I'm getting frustrated since it is the last part I need to finish my build (built with Bushmaster Stock, Lower and Upper so Bushmaster barrel would be ideal). Just want to finish and shoot this beauty!!

Quoted me a few moths back about 550$ and a 3-4 month wait.

One Shot Tactical has some Rainier Arms Ultra Match coming in if not already in. Try them out, about the same price with no wait.

$550 eh? I got the Bushy for $249.50 American, such a nice price for everything....might just have to wait and put up with the itch.

Don't F around. If you want 20" you want a well made barrel.

ATRS. Get it made, get it right, and never look back.

I went through 6months of "no barrel" when I went from a 14.5" NEA to an 18" NEA. I eventually got it, but, in hindsight, should have just ordered the exact barrel/profile/chamber/twist I wanted, and then sold the 14.5" afterwards to partially fund it.

It's the handsdown best way to go. That's the price of doing it right. The barrel is the heart of your rifle. Get it made.

Try Brownells? Export paperwork isn't that bad. Three US forms and a Canadian Import Certificate that you can apply for online and get in 2-3 days by email. Only took my order 2-2 1/2 weeks to ship once I mailed the paperwork.

I'm going to ask a pretty retarded question, and I'm 99.9 percent sure the answer is NO!!!! But......does a 20 inch barrel make an AR-15 non-restricted? (waiting for the insults) lol

Import of the barrel is no problem for me since I have a friend who takes care of all that which is a MASSIVE help. Ive only bought the lower and upper from Canada, the rest has been brought in. Knowing the right ppl helps no doubt.

I've emailed ATRS to see whats up, see what I can get.

I bought a 20in DPMS from Brownells earlier this year. Paperwork was easy, didn't take long at all to process. In the end, I ended up paying about $275 after shipping and losing the CBSA lottery.

I would go with an ATRS barrel. I have one of their 18 inch heavy stainless barrels and it is easily the most accurate 223 I've shot. Just for reference I also have an HK SL8-4 and a couple other higher end AR's.
Best part is that I've tried 6 different types of ammo and it shoots them all well but it shoots a couple exceptionally. Next I'll be doing handload development after I find a load for the HK.
