20 gauge "00"

I found 20 gauge buckshot in Ohio that had 7 pellets. Here in Canada the lowest number of pellets I can find is 18. Anyone know of a supplier that sells 20 gauge with 7 or 8 pellet loads?

Would love some 00 for my 20 to carry just in case I run into a bear when hunting birds up north. Can find #2 buck but lacks the "deterrence" I am looking for. I do carry slugs but would really like the buck.

Well only place ive found anything larger than 3BK for the 20ga is Al Flaherty's, and even then it's #1BK.

Nobody seems to carry '00'..I couldn't tell you why.

I can't find a company that makes it - Federal, Winchester, Remington, Hornady and Challenger are all "no go" - figure there must be one of the second tier ammo companies packing some somewhere. I can get #2 buck but that's it.

This loading compares directly to the Remington, ‘Managed Recoil,*’ 00 buckshot load for a 12 gauge!!! This round will have recoil similar to the Remington 20 gauge, ‘Gun Club Target,*’ load. Other ammunition manufacturers list a 100 fps higher velocity for their, ‘tactical,’ loads but read the fine print. They use a 30” full choke barrel for their velocity tests and each inch longer barrel yields another 25-30 fps in velocity. .

That's right. Wolf Hill is where I saw it. I called them and they have it made special just for them. Wolf offers buck with 7 pellets. Serious stopping power. I asked if they had a dealer up here that they ship to and the answer was no. They also do not ship to individual customers. I looked into bring it up myself, but it seems you have to jump through too many hoops of red tape for my liking/time/effort.
