20 gauge pump

the recoil on a 20 ga is not less than a 22 ga and the 20 ha will not do everything a 12 ga will do
That's funny ..... I have two Cooey single shots. One 12ga and the other a 20. Both identical guns and the 20 delivers noticeably less recoil even though the 20 is a bit lighter.

As Pinchedfinger said, the 20ga will do ALMOST everything a 12 will do and he's right. "Almost" being the key word. :)

Sorry but the question is where would someone acquire different barrels for the Remington 870 20 gauge I purchased
Thank You.

Leavenworth, that will not be so easy nowadays. It is my understanding that RemArms currently focuses on producing firearms and not spare parts. There was a time you could just order a barrel in the configuration you wanted from Gravel Agency and a couple month later that barrel would show up at your door. But these times are over .... and the market for 870 spare parts has dried up a bit, especially in Canada. There is still a bit of new parts around for 12ga ... but not so much for 20ga.

Your best bet is probably the used market ... Keep an eye on the EE ... and if that barrel shows up one day ... go for it.

What specific barrel are you looking for? Some dealers/repair centers in the US still have a bit of stock.

The last I checked, Numrich still has quite an inventory of 870 spare parts and they ship to Canada.

The other place is the gunrepaircenter.com in Florida, and where I found a rare 870 stock .... but they do not ship to Canada. You will need to figure out how to get the parts across the border.

p.s.: I just checked and neither Numrich nor TheGunRepairCenter have 20ga barrels in stock. Meaning they are out of stock, and will likely not get any 20ga barrels any more.

p.s.s: Personally, I am at the point where I buy a whole gun and just to get the stock or barrel that I am looking for. And then I sell off the gun parts that I don't need .... like the receiver, trigger group, bolt, action bars, etc .....
