20 MOA mount ?

A 20 MOA base is higher at the back, and you get the full 20 MAO benefit with the longest spacing between your rings. Your bullet will hit lower on the target if your rear ring is not in the rear slot because the scope is closer to the bore. I had to move my rear ring 2 notches forward so that I could get a 100 yard zero with the adjustment bottomed out. Lots of folks think it is solely the angle of the base that provides the 20 MOA advantage, but it is also dependent on the height of the scope above the bore.
