20 MOA rail with 20 MOA mount?

Looking to buy a 1 piece mount and I'm curious if it's worth getting a 20 moa mount over a 0 moa mount. Rifle has a 20 moa rail as it stands. Scope has 110 moa of adjustment. Any reason not to do this? Thanks

Depends on what your use is and if it makes sense with the calibre and scope adjustment range.

I am all for a 20 and 20 for extended 308 ranges and ELR calibres like 300 PRC.

6.5 creed. Crown land plinking. Nothing official. Will end up as a switch barrel setup so caliber will change as my mood does

I guess it depends how far you plan on plinking but I've taken my 6.5 Creed with a Leupold Mk5 5-25 on a 20 moa base out to 1600 yards and I didn't run out of elevation.
