Just letting anyone know that there's a 20% off sale on Mossberg shotguns at Wholesale Sports. Seems half of the items are sold out, others in stock.

or Youth and Bantam 500's for $287, some hunting shotguns, 590A1 Tactical Light Forend for $503... etc. Check it out, unsure how long the sale is on for.

I saw that earlier too .... They often have good prices in their flyers, but go the store and they won't have any of those items in stock. They had Remington's on for a great price only a month ago or so ...... And not one 18" model on the shelf.

There are some in stock sale items, online.
 
My local WSS has more shotguns in the back than on display. My go to salesman there was pulling out Mossberg Model after Mossberg model from the warehouse for me last month.
I told him they were desirable models and why not put them on the salesfloor?
He said only mgmt can make price tags and won't give regular staff the access to do it. He said mgmt doesn't do it, so it doesn't get done. I just shook my head.
 
I've heard the same complaints about WSS's stores, but I don't have one near me. Ordered a shotgun online before (on sale) and got a beautiful specimen... can't complain.
 
I have had very poor service online with WSS and I'm not sure I want to try them again. They took an order and never got back to me and then would take emails about the order, and promise to get back to me, but never did get get back to me until further repeated emails from me. I never did get that order. It was a small order from an earlier website ... Maybe it's better now? They have some good prices though. The in store service is hit and miss, but they have all kinds of hunting equipment and camping stuff.

I've noticed that the regular price of mossbergs has gone up a lot at other stores, so the 20% off puts them much lower than I've been seeing elsewhere. Too bad the stock they have in store is almost nil again.
 
flyer says the sale is on until September 27th, but if you see something you like, best snag it because they tend to have not much in stock.

Don't think the Forend/Light is worth $300 but it's an L3/Insight 125 lumen model. Supposed to be quite good (ergonomics look better than some of the other forend lights), although there are some brighter options available.

Damn ordered a 590A1 from them last month at $539.99, now it's at $479.99... Does anyone know if they have a price protection policy?
 
Quick update, WSS Customer Service got back to me on the same day and notified me that I will be credited the price difference, very impressed with their service so far!
 
I was told the corporate head office doesn't consult the stores about what they actually have in stock when they decide which firearms to put in their flyers. Great deals ... I would just like to see more in the actual stores, so you can see it in person.

Don't know, I'd only be guessing. Considering there aren't any on the EE, I'd say that # wouldn't be far off, maybe more.

The Surefire is $375 US on the company's site, but it's 200/600 lumens. I have a 200 lumen pistol light and it's bright as f@ck.
 
Haha now everyone wants to make this 590a1 into a $250-300 shotgun with the foreend light subsidy. st1264 .... Looking forward to your review when it gets in your hands on it. The 500 Persuader looks like a good deal too. Even the Maverick looks like a cheap Christmas gift for someone without a shotgun.
