This is not the sort of thing most of us do regularly. The time savings and quality of the finished product for the few dollars invested in this make it an excellent post.

I have not reloaded for straight wall pistol - so do you go through again with a chamfering tool, instead of a cutter, in the drill press chuck, to take inside sharp edge of case, or is that even done with pistol brass?? Perhaps is dealt with via expander ball or Lyman "M" die, when case is sized?

When I started with bottle neck rifle in Lee Loader - I do not recall doing a chamfering step - once I started on a press, the chamfering stated - which I do to all rifle cases - but now wondering if that is just "busy work" for no good reason?? Might be waste of time with boat tail bullets, but not sure about the more "square" base types.

When i trim i have always chamfered inside and out for all rifle and pistol brass.
