I am sure that rifle can do better than that. I bought mine in January and didn't get to shoot it too frequent but even right off the shelf it does better than what you are getting, try switching ammo.

Mine came Friday and I just swapped the scope off another gun and me and the young fella are going to break the cherry today. Many kinds of different ammo and hopefully one is the right one

25 yards is pretty close. With most decent quality .22's the bullet holes should be touching. I'd try experimenting with a few boxes of more expensive ammo.

I just got from the range. It's pretty windy but new gun and all I had to try it.CCI blazers and American Eagles seem to shoot the best.Remington cyclones,CCI stingers Federal game shok 36 & 38 gr. were also tried. The Blazers and AE had ragged holes while everything else was there no fliers but not exact either. The CCI stingers never fed through the clip right so no more of those. This was at 25 yds. with A Bushnell Elite 3200.Like I say it was windy but at 50 yds the Blazers shot better one round then the AE's shot better the next. This isn't the scope that will stay on the gun so I ain't getting worried yet but it's something to start on

I am not sure if MkII is match chambered, but if it is then I wouldn't feed it with stingers, those have longer casing and said to be damaging match chamber. Mine shoots best with CCI standard velocity or Lapua super club or Federal Gold medal (#1)- standard velocity ammo seems to be the best for mine. I see you haven't tried standard velocity-ish yet thats why I mentioned it.

I see a pattern in your shooting, the gun seem's very accuracy , even with that ammo, more range time will sort that out though. Fun stuff ain't it:cool:
Oh don't try and re position after each shot , even if you see the bullet is not in the center, keep it in the same place, once all are there, then you can re direct to center.

i thought this was very very good ,for me anyways considering this was standing at 25 yrds not 25 feet (one shot per red dot ) .
the worst shot ,from centre was barely more than half a inch from the centre of the dot .
but i know the gun and ammo are better than me ,because from the rest i can very easly knock the red out of the paper .
i found the thunder bolts very consistant also ,but very dirty.
best so far was cci 40 gr standard velocity .
worst so far was the winchester 40gr t22 target.

i also found the 40 gr game shok solids were only slightly better than the american eagle and im very happy with the am eagle both shoot almost identical and so far are my to favs .
also they burn nice and clean ,and i like the non corrosive primers

Geez,

Looking at that, there's no wonder the group's all over the place. There's too many dots!

Mind you, it's a nice pattern for your gun, you got one in just about every one of the red circles I think.

Try tightening up the choke and using an improved cylinder instead of the Improved Rectangle. I found that worked wonders with mine.

Ah, standing, unsupported (no sling?) at 75 feet. That's pretty decent.

Next target you post, 10 round group at a single aiming mark. That'll shut-up the shotgun funnnymen.
