Copying my post from other thread to here just so people can see some of the variety.
Yup lucked out with those two as they were right up front in the display case when you walk into the store, eyeballed them and decided I'm getting these two for myself.
I presume these are kill counts? Either way both have them and I like the character it adds to both rifles.
Repair to one of the stocks, also shows the bronze/copper colour of the bolts, my other SVT's were plum colour.
$445 well spent in this buyers mind.

Looks like an X-out of an old serial number (replaced stock during the refurbishing process)
Also, you have the rails on the receiver but no "notch". Very common.
They have plenty of rifles, but at this rate I don't know for how much longer. I was there with a friend around noon on Monday (we each bought one) and another fella bought two (one for his brother). As we were leaving someone else came in looking for these rifles too.

You could do that, sure, and I doubt it would be too hard, but if you passed it off as authentic, that wouldn't be cool.

Received the tracking number the day it went out.
I should have added "ordered with hand select option."
Good to know that they are shipping!
I went down there today and picked up a 41 Tula. Original stock. rails, and very nice condition. I have to say, all of the staff were great. My last couple of times I was there the same could not be said. So the change is for the better. I would never have recommended them befor but so long as they are this good, I will.
Unless you posted the wrong pictures... those are not snipers. You need a notch on top of and towards the back of the receiver. Those are rails, and are common on SVT's. Hate to burst your bubble

Mine are just run of the mill then but oh well still love them.
