Not take advantage of potential customers. That's up to their discretion though as a business operator. Just as its my choice not to buy from them. Same goes for my friends and family

Market forces at work ! :D

I can't help thinking that we (myself included ) are happy to take advantage of gullible dealers when they sell too cheap. $200 is cheap, $700 is expensive, and all from the same dealer.
I guess Lever will not be in business for long, knowing so little about pricing firearms.

What years did you score? Give us details :)

I ordered two, one for myself and one for my friend

I asked for early 40s Tula, 6 port brake, best condition receiver/bore.

Thats exactly what i got, Two 41's, no sniper notch, but meh....

Receivers, bores, everything is excellent.

Both stocks have a small repair on the left side of receiver, hardly noticeable unless you were looking for it.

Definitively excellent condition SVT's and a great price at that!

Could be... I'll call them up tomorrow. Hard to be upset since it is a nice rifle... I just expected to get what I paid for.

I called them today and thanked them for sending me such nice rifles. I did not ask for rifles from certain years or specific arsenals, I just asked for Naval stocks without repairs (if possible ). But most of all I just wanted rifles that were really nice and that is what I got.

You only paid $225, so be happy :)

But how do you order? I called them last week and they told me to use the website.
A week later and I still haven't heard anything. He said they will get back to me and then I give them CC info? If they have what I want. Who knows......

Ordered online sun night. When completed it asked me to call in my cc. Tuesday evening I did that. Exactly a week later I was holding the beauties.

Here are a few pictures of what I managed to pick up. Sorry about the poor quality iPhone photo's.
1940 Izhevsk SVT-40, six port muzzle break, naval stock with no repairs, all matching serial numbers, previously swimmingly in the beautiful goop that is cosmoline.

The rifle is perfectly waited and the trigger pulls beautifully. Very pleased with this purchase. Most likely the nicest thing my girlfriend has done for me, despite putting up with my ever growing collection ;)

Still cheap cheap

This is 100% right. I am in Ontario and it still came to lower than what anyone near by is selling them for. In other news mine shipped yesterday and should be here by next Thursday or Friday. Between now and then I will figure out how to post pics and post some when it gets here.

Very nice!

Can't beat the price. Since I am an SVT addict I couldn't resist ordering a crate (15x rifles) - gives me increased odds of finding something interesting. Only $150 for shipping!

I only started dealing with Lever this last year, but very impressed. These things have to be going for close to cost for many stores.

Those not local to Vancouver if you have a wholesale sports these rifles and mosin's are on sale, PLUS 10% off on all firearms right now, I broke even with what I would have paid at Lever+shipping. And I got to hand pick what I wanted, got it same day.

Wow...they may turn a blind eye and throw in a notched one for ya.

I thought about doing the same thing, but to be realistic I don't need 15 SVT 40s even though it would be nice to have a crate full.

Yeah...unless your in command of a squad of Soviet troops we don't need a crate of 15x SVT's. But then again...having a crate is pretty cool.

I have 1x crate already but I am hoping there might be some upgrades/gems within. Maybe a 1945 for myself and one for DJdeadlyDaler ;)

I really like the Crate concept when dealing with common Milsups. Cheaper than investing in Gold but still an investment, especially at these prices.

Heck and who knows when the Zombie Nazi's will attack?

I made sure that I was receiving an 'random' crate and not a crate of 'left overs'. The only ones who have opened it were in Europe when they pinned the mags. Sadly all these SVT's are missing slings.

I would be interested to see what you find inside the crate. I hope you find a gem or two.

I still can't get over my $200 sniper, I keep fondling it :)
