200 yard scope

Budget is a major player in recommending a scope. It's hard to get over 14x and retain image quality, without getting into some major dollars (approx $750 or more).

14x is a reasonable choice for plinking at that distance.

Talley makes a nice ring that will fit properly. I bought a set from Prophet River. You likely have the 11mm dovetail, but it pays to measure research that point, and also measure. There are some drawings on the net showing how to measure a CZ to determine which is which. My CZ453 Varmint was supposed to have the 3/8 dovetail, but for some reason the fluted version has 11mm, despite the factory chart.

The Elite 3200 4-12x40 would be a good choice, but Dantes has the Elite 3200 5-15x40 Listed on sale at $277. That is a great price for that scope. As others have posted, Talleys work well on the CZ dovetail.

I have a Bushnell 3200 5-15 and I like the image quality. I just put a 4-16 Bushnell 4200 on another CZ, but I haven't had a chance to shoot it with that scope yet.

I would go 6-24X for that range. Look at the Bushnell Elite, Weaver, and Sightron scopes, for a quality model. All made in Japan.

bushnell 4200 8-32

I like fixed 36's and 48's but sometimes variables are nice and I went with the 8-32 due to the price.
