Buy a Beretta. No really, some models are right around $2000, if that's what you really want.![]()
Save another $1000 and get a Beretta or Browning. I don't know of too many people who have ever regretted spending more for a better shotgun, but know dozens who have regretted spending less for something that they didn't like as much (including me).
Brad.
Inexpensive guns can be expensive. I have a 20G Red Label and find it excellent to shoot and gives me `pride of ownership`. I also have a Ruger #1 in 45/70 and they both have lovely wood,Ruger obviously keeps the good stuff for these two classics.!!Ruger Red Label. I purchased a new 12 guage 26" barrels, screw in chokes for less than 2K more than a few years ago. It is still unfired but is one of the prettiest guns I have ever owned. Beautiful wood, excellent bluing. For some reason the wood on #1 rifles and Red Label shotguns is often excellent.

I would have said that, but the OP said "(No answers like save it and buy a beretta, or buy a used beretta)" I guess because you are a mod you can get away with it![]()
