2006 moose hunt

Here are a couple of pictures from this yers hunt. Lots of calling, some crawling and a lot of patience paid off. I shot this bull just under 60yds in heavy timber. I watched him breed a cow 3 times first, Well I had too I couldn't get a good shot off. Biggest to date so far for me.

Yeah I've been meaning to scan a few more pics but haven't got a round to it yet. Only took 2 pics in the field as it was getting dark quick in the spruce forest. I have some better ones of just the head back at camp will try and post. Thanks for the kind words all.

I shot him with a 300wm with some handloaded 200gr accubonds. perfect mushroom on the bullet though I was surprised that it didn't pass through. his neck was pretty big though.
