2006 Ontario Moose draw

Question! A fella in our group applied by phone for the draw as an individual. We were waiting for him to get his liscence so we could mail them in as a group. Like we do every year!. For what ever reason he thought he would do it that way instead. Go figure. My question is does anyone know if he can retract his telephone application and re apply with us as a group by mail?. As we have not mailed ours in yet. I looked in the regs but can't find anything. I'm about ready to strangle this guy as he really has screwed up our hunt.(to the tag degree) Thanks for any info and/or help.

I think the only way to get a reliable answer to this question would be to call the MNR. I would think that since he bought his license over the phone, the process has already been started, and I don't see the MNR cancelling it.

can't hurt to ask. all that can happen is that he may be able to retract, and the worst is he's an individual draw and the group had to bring in a new member or whatever. But if you don't call and ask, sure as h*ll you'll be where you are now.

we ran into the same with our group -two new members forgot to apply last year , so they are in pool 2 this year and don't count for the group draw - so we had to bring in an extra body that nobody really wanted - it's that or hunt calf. discussions have been held to ensure this won't happen again

We got it all straightened out. Called the MNR. He admitted to being stupid LOL. They agreed to electronically attach our mailed in group number to his lisence. It all worked out in the end. Schew!
