2006 Whitetail

I took my Whitetail yesterday.It was shot at 325 Yards with a 280 Ackley dropped on the spot.The rifle was built for me by my buddy its a keeper.The snow was approx2 1/2 ft deep had to use a skidoo to pull him out.He is not a monster but I am happy with him

Congrats Lorne , so what ya use for a bullet, and how did it work other than making the deer fall down , thats a heck of a long shot, a rest of any kind ? , just for new folks I ask that Gonna have some great eating ahead, nice tall rack , and a hog of a deer

I used nosler 140 Gr Ballistic Tips.I had a bipod on the rifle they sure help

He's HUGE!!! NOTHING cranks me like a Giant body, great mass, long tined Joker whitetail. If he's not a monster, then I'm definitely undergunned with my .270 when I come out to Alberta to hunt next week Congrats on a FANTASTIC deer. Seeing bucks like that sure gets me pumped up!

...........Way to go Lorne!!!! I hear you about the snow. The Polaris RMK is ready if an elk needs to be dragged out here. Not liking my chances as of late though.
