2007 or later CZ858 Prohib

Wolverine Supplies imported 9,394 CZ 858 rifles between 2005 and 2012, approx. 500 of these were restricted due to barrel length. Only 550 left CZ before 2007. If the Government paid compensation at retail it would total over six million. The RCMP did examine the CZ 858 before classification in 2005. The internal receiver has remained unchanged during the whole time of production.

Wolverine Supplies imported the first BRS 99 into Canada, I will have to check my records to see if the RCMP made a physical examination or not. I still have serial # 1 in my safe.

I may have read the title wrong. someone explain. "2007 or later cz 858 prohib" As is 2007 and onwards to 2014? or 2007 and earlier?
Canadian language education, what can I say. it never stuck.

I too heard (rumour mill, but a reliable mill) that all the CZ 858s were built with converted auto receivers. Supposedly, the RCMP missed this when first classifying the firearm. Again supposedly, they could only be converted back to auto via the machine at the CZ factory in Europe, but since they are converted autos, they are now prohibited. The problem for them is there are about 17,000 cz 858s in Canada. I can't confirm any of this info since it's all second hand, but I would also expect the 858 is next.

.
look again on facebook it is confirmed all the cz858v2 are prohib
