Phil,

Great message but I think you just get to the point and not beat around the bush so much.

Phil!

Can Quebec shooter get priority this time!! Seems that most of the spots are taken by Ontario guys!

ton45

No offense Ton45...but in the early years you fine folks relied very heavily on "those Ontario guys" for help (officiating etc). Appearantly our watches don't quit after 3 hours.

It's great that Quebec now has a larger core group of hard working individuals (and these guys know how to work) but be carefull where you point those fingers.

Several of our members still work multiple full days (and are happy to do it)...so leave the geography out of it. We're all on the same side

How about priority for the people that do the most work ;)

No offence Quigley, but it's a Quebec Provincial.. not a Nationnal or a Ontario Provincial.

The only problem I could see is if 80% off the spots are taken by non-Quebec guy..

How would you like to have a 10% canadian 90% USA Canadian Nationnal or a 75% QC, 25% ON Ontatio provincial?

HE was not saying Ontario guys could not play, but to have a minimum reserved spot for QC. like 30% or I don't know.

Actually..it's an International Match , sanctioned by IPSC and open to all members of IPSC regardless of location (Region or Section)...

P.S - I'm not that easy to offend

I'll pay to shoot - I won't pay to work :jerkit:

ok pmt;
your match fee is $100 (pay someone else to do your 3 hours of work and /or their match fee and you don't have to work...)

and if anybody else doesn't want work you want to pay for my ticket back from oz I'll work for you! as long as I get to shoot...

OK enough...

We're losing site of what's important...our friends in Quebec are about to put on another amazing match...

Send your registration in early...and no disappointments

What part of this don't people get?

These matches don't put on themselves.

Somebody has to be the official, do the scores, the set up & tear down, and the gophering, planning, organizing ect. All of this comes at a personnel expense weather it be time away from work or family.

So rather then pitching in, doing your share it blows my mind that far too many do nothing while appearing to being doing something while B#$%^@#ing the whole time bring down the range which is trying to work toward something.

If you are not willing to do what the match asks re: work, being on time what ever act now Find somewhere else to shoot and stay there.

I was just wondering what side of the fence you were on.
