I was thinking I might be able to make it and it would be great fun I would have brought my 22LR/17HMR/223/22-250.

I will already be in Alberta the 3rd week of April for my sons graduation from Canadian University College in Lacombe so I will definately not be coming all the way back out a month or 2 later just don't have the time. :(

Ok Ok... if we score our grizzly draws we'll be in northern BC after another grizzly or 2 the same time you guys are blasting away... :p

I am starting a new job in March and don't know what shift I am going to be on. But as soon as I find out I am going to book that weekend off. I am looking forward to join you all in the fun
:sniper:

ok i have to book my holidays this month so anyother manitobans contact me if your interested in carpooling or some such arrangement. bring an AR180 as well, just grabbedthe last one that epps had, now i need a dozen or so of those 10 round mags.....

This Manitoban will be going too. Carpooling would be great (spent $500 on gas last year) but unfortunately the back seat of the truck was completely filled with firearms.

So are there any plans to extend the shoot for more than just the weekend this year? I wonder if Ernie would mind if some of us stay longer. I'm thinking a 4 or 5 day shoot would be excellent, especially since there seems to be a lot more interest and people are coming from pretty far away.

We're just working on that right now as a matter of fact. :)

i was thinking if 5 days, to for driving 3 for shoosting, leave here early the friday morning, shoot saturday sunday monday come home tuesday. i also have a camper that can sleep 2-3, and can be filled with stuff freeing up room in a truck cab, let me know what you think.

ok i booked the 5-9 of june off. for now it looks like fellow winnipeg CGN'er "Bob" is gonna come with me, so i don't have to spend 10 hours driving by myself. yay!

Sounds good. I'll be there Early Friday to get the mansion set-up. I'll try to make up some bigger signs this year, hopefully more durable too. Last year I think they all blew away!

So I can now say that unless the sun falls out of the sky, or some other such nonsense I will be coming for sure!

Can't wait!!!

Is anyone else going from the Medicine Hat/ southern Alberta area?

I am 95% coming. A pretty sure "count me in"...
I have looked ahead in the schedule at work, and know I have that weekend off... So barring the unforeseen I will be there...

Pretty much stay as long as there are squeaks to kill...the local farmers have all been informed of the happenings and are willing to let us into their fields :D

As long as everyone uses respect and common sense there wont be any problems!!!

So is everyone camping in the killing fields or has one of the land owners set aside an area just for that? I can do the tent thing, or even a sleeping bag in the back of the 4runner. Not really picky...
