
Many (about 240) moons ago I had a fantastic time in a 2x3 mile gopher "patch" down by Ponteix, SK. I had to repeatedly swap in a .22LR conversion kit in my AR, as the barrel keep getting too hot when using .223 on the swarms.
Yes, that was in the good old days when AR's weren't restricted.

Should of gone a little further east an south.Ive been shooting down near Aneroid,the last 2 yrs.An average days shooting was 600 rnds,of .22, from 10am-8pm in June. One land owner even supplied ammo if you'd shoot on his land..And room to unlimber centerfire guns too.Heck even shot gophers off the tops of round bales..too much fun.![]()
