I'm finally able to have some time to start working up a load for 200gn lrn gc bullets that I picked up around Christmas time. These will be used in a rifle only a ruger 77/357 rifle as I'm trying to find a few new hunting loads for it.

I haven't been able to find much info for loads with these currently and my pistol powder stock currently consists only of some clays, 2400 and a butt load of win 231

I have a few starting points of


>> 9gn of 2400 up to around 10.4 max pressure 32 800 from a 6" revolver 1245 fps
>>
>> 5-5.5 of w231 42000 pressure 1060 fps

Any other suggestions? Col etc?

Ive handloaded lots of rounds for my H&R handi rifle, 158 and 180gr .W296 is the best, also had good luck with imr4227. plenty of power for hunting.
