200gr bullet in mosin

hey guys i just picked up a couple boxes of 200gr sp which i was gonna use on spring black bear, is this too heavy? i have .308, .303, 30-06 as well but i want to use my mosin. If 200gr sp isnt too heavy how should I sight it in at 100m? should i sight it at 3inches high at 100m? or should i just go with 180gr in 30-06? or 150gr in .308? i use cheap rounds(federal blue box) my mosin ammo is scds made in russia, i dont plan on shooting more than 150 yards.

Well I can't help with all the questions but, in my M44 I have some Wolf 200g FMJ. They shoot about 8" low at 100 yds compared to standard milsurp light ball.
I need to set my sights to 400 to bring it back on target. Also a tad bit harder on the shoulder.

I hunt with 203gr MFS soft points and find them very reliable and very accurate. Sight your rifle in for 3" high at 100 which is usually very close to zero at 25 yards, look at Chuck Hawks excellent article on MPBR
