Just an update.

We've found the deer. (Not more than 50 yards from my original search grid)

Only a few bones kicking around and a pile of fur.

Atleast you know he didn't suffer too much if he only made it that far. But stop feeding the coyotes, they're fat enough already! We don't need any more south of Ottawa. So far we've seen twice as many coyotes as deer, and hardly any bucks.

I knew he was right under my nose somewhere.

Personally, I'm glad that we found him. I knew he was dead, but it's confirmed now.

The yotes got a freeby. But I have to admit, I'm seeing lots of deer, and mostly bucks!!
2 mashers last weekend. Jumped one in the dark this morning going into my stand.

In the mornings, driving to work I've seen upwards of 8-10 out in the field.
