2010 Canadian Gun Nutz Saskatchewan Gopher Shoot primer thread.

Rhino and I will of course be there no matter when or what! First weekend in July kinda sucks-a-lot for me, but the arduous trek will be made regardless. :)

Hmmm...actually it'll be a good warmup for my trip to S.C. the second weekend, where shooting a variety of different boomsticks with long mags and short barrels will be the order of the day. :D

A portion of the unrestricted in any way goodness we shot last year...

I'll get the real thread up in another month or two. Six months should give plenty of time for everyone to get the details ironed out. I'll have a poll up top again and it will be the same drill. Those who respond first will have priority. Everyone needs to remember that we will try to bring in as many as possible, but we will be on private land and the owner probably wouldn't appreciate a hundred guys running around his place. If you want in this year, get your name in there first. Answer in the poll and post in the thread your intentions. I will keep a tally on who wants in. If you say you are coming, let us know how many will be attending with you. Now is a good time to start getting stuff together. I'm sure the landowner is ok with anything you want to bring, there are just some areas he doesn't want high powered stuff going off. If you have any questions, let us have them. It's a good time, (or it will be if it doesn't ####ing snow!) Again, we are shooting for the Canada Day weekend in July. As of now, we are looking at a 4 day shoot, Thursday thru Sunday. You can attend any or all of those days. Camping will be onsite, graciously provided by the land owner. Be advised there are no hook ups, but toilet facilities, camping area and a fire pit are there for us to use. There is enough room for RV's, trailers an of course tents. Lets get ready folks.

Well gents, as excited as I am for next July, that still leaves several months of cold weather to suffer through.

Anyone else want to get into some hard water fishing to pass the time? Captain, I seem to recall some interest from you, albeit we never disscussed freezing our butts off on a chunk of ice....

I doubt we would even need an auger if pharaoh2 can be conviced to bring his new rifle.

Im not really into ice fishing...but to go fishing one of these days that mild I would consider...unless we are just gonna go out on the ice and drink beer until we are smashed...then I might :D

I'm with pharaoh2 on this one, your beer would freeze. Keeps you warmer too!

If I can get out in the next two weeks, I will let you know. I'm just kinda busy these days. With the weather the way it's been lately, one more trip to Badger might be in order though.

Anyway, just throwing it out there, I'm trying to make some good come of the Winter season this year and get out a few times. I'll give you a heads up as when I plan on going and you can decide then. I have enough gear if you need to borrow!
