2010 Nationals Website

JP has been picked up by SV to shoot Standard, as was announced at the MIC 2010. So once his gun shows up, whenever that is, I would imagine he'll be jumping to Standard pretty quickly thereafter.
As for the Nationals, have any of the provinces announced Teams?

Alberta's team is not picked till after our Provincials July 3/4. just for the hell of it i went and looked at the standings. here's open:

1 K, Frank 59.67 8
2 O, Todd 57.81 13
3 A, Romel 54.56 7
4 K, Todd 53.55 10
5 A, Jerry 49.99 10
6 B, Dave 46.63 9
7 B, Boris 46.10 9
8 H, Walter 44.76 8
9 A, Jelimark 43.23 9
10 R, Steven 42.54 5

i see one name that is not in the top ten as he has only shot matches this season but is at 99% for those 4 so i am willing to bet that when he shoots his next two matches in brooks he will be up there in the top two.

Standard

1 C, Jim 56.75 7
2 R, Marek 56.66 7
3 B, Sam 56.10 12
4 S, David 54.71 10
5 V, Francis 54.35 7
6 T, Joey 51.87 7
7 L, Dave 51.81 13
8 S, Ralph 50.44 10
9 P, Edward 48.86 10
10 B, Jayson 41.94 5

i see number 10 and number 11 have only shot 5 matches so i think we will see a bit of a change there probably in the top 5.

Production

1 B, Jayson 59.74 6
2 C, Ryan 59.60 12
3 S, Duane 55.94 8
4 C, Andy 55.13 12
5 P, Jim 49.26 6
6 M, Robert 46.73 7
7 E, Eric 44.20 6
8 B, Kevin 37.32 5
9 V, Gerard 34.52 6
10 D, Antoine 30.72 5

Number 11 has only shot four matches so he might be a dark horse, however more interesting is that the number one production shooter is the number 10 standard shooter with only five matches in standard. i wonder what he is going to shot Nationals wit!

Hey! There is no reason for that kind of talk. He's doing just fine in Production. Standard already has Mike and Pascal to deal with, we're good. He should stick to Production for a couple years, then go straight to Open.

JP will likely be shooting SD by then. It is most likely Angus will shoot the match if he is here for a course.

Well, I think I should jump in and clarify things a little bit:confused:. Yes I will be shooting Standard with an SVI that I should receive soon but I won't be shooting Standard until after the World Shoots in Greece. After that, Standard it will be but until there, I will still be shooting Production. I will need time to switch from my CZ to the SVI and I don't feel like switching so close from the Worlds would be a good idea.

By the way Slavex :kickInTheNuts:
Lol!:D

I'd be very interested in seeing the outcome of the Production Division if he does. I assume last years winner, I think his name was Jean (forgive me if I'm wrong), will be there. Considering the margin he won by, he should give Angus a real run for his money.

If he does show-up, you can be sure that I plan on giving him a good run for his money...well at least I'll try! :D But it's still Angus Hobdell so it's far from a done deal. I have a lot of work to do...which I plan on doing:dancingbanana:

well now that is excellent news Zaitsev! (bill is in the mail for speaking on your behalf by the way :pirate:f:P:2::cheers::redface: sorry).
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you shoot PD at this Nationals. That is going to rock.

Not a problem Slavex...but it better be a big bill!:D

I can't wait to shoot the Nats as well. Looking forward for a very nice match and some good time(and beer) with good friends.

I have travelled on Westjet many times with firearms and have never had any problems.

Much better service then air canada, plus you do not get charged extra fees for travelling with firearms.

Just have to watch the weight limit on ammo, I got stopped and had to leave some behind on my way to the Nationals last year.

They let me on the plane with 278 rounds,:bangHead:, not the 500 I wanted. Lucky for me though, I was leaving a few days early, so there was time to get the rest shipped there.

Plan ahead.

really the best way is to ship your ammo ahead of time. makes for one less hassle at the airport. Last time i left Vancouver, they "had to" see that the ammo was in a case.

Anyone looking to ship ammo can send it to me if there is nothing listed on the Nats website.
Also Angus is confirmed for training after the match. A new poll posted soon.
