2010 ON Provincials

We may be in the hunt for it in Barrie. I will try to see if we have the will in our club to do it. I think it is about time and our turn to try.
Lets see who is on the Ont IPSC board after the elections. Then if our members agree ( In Barrie), I will as the Barrie IPSC rep put our bid for it.
 
Hmm, by my count, Kingston, EOHC, BGC, EESA, Guelph, and Sharon are viable contenders as host locations.

I doubt Sharon will ask for it this year, having hosted it last year.
As EOHC also host the QC Provincials, hosting the ONT provincials might be a bit much.
Guelph seemed to drop off the radar last season, so who knows.

My money is on BGC if they have the manpower, but I wouldn't discount Kingston or EESA.
 
There is an article in the latest USPSA 'Front Sight' magazine about the good time an American shooter had at the 2009 Ontario Provincials. The last paragraph in the article says that next years match will be 'south of Toronto and north of London with Josko and Mike designing and running the match. Sounds like Guelph to me.
 
Guelph has got great facility, however no shooting on Sunday is big problem and to much noise...

maybe Josko and Mike will approach Silverdale?

John, it will be great if you guys can do it. Last Provincials in Barrie were really well done.

No decisions have been made...and the process will be the same as in past years...all proposals to the Board will be considered.
