I'm pretty sure we did this last year so I thought we should do it again.

Post some pics from this year's hunt.

I'll start with some scouting antelope photos... just 4 days til I hit the field.

You need an outfitter and a checkbook. Getting your guns in is easy enough, you can do that at the border.

I want to go to Austrailia one of these days, as another leg of the "buffalo on 4 continents journey." Cull hunting is intregueing as well.

Hey Casterpollex, were is the picture of that 4 legged hunting partner of yours? The photos are great.

He stayed in the truck... It was wet and muddy and there was no way he was getting out. He would have found the biggest mud pit to play in and then try to climb back in the truck.

No frickin' way!

He's still not sure what to think of my decoy yet...

He looks like a fine bird dog to me. He is probably saying he didn't sign up for antelope hunting.

Nice looking hunting companion.

Hunting season has been going for a month, post up people!!!!

Every time I go sheep hunting this year it looks like this:

So the lack of being able to see the sheep leads to lots of oppurtunity for shots of yours truely. This was taken on my solo, multi-day hunt last week:

We got out for some fun on the weekend, wife and I saw our very first Grizzly as close as I'd ever want to without a gun in hand. The Bear seemed pretty big, far as I could tell anyway.
Looking through the Leica (cub by rock):
