Another great day! I'm wickedly sunburnt though. My score dropped from the March match! I thought I was supposed to be getting better lol!

That's fast Sean! I've thought you will post the scores 24 hrs after the match. I'm wrong.

It's a fun shooting at the match (for the first time) as well as get to know more good fellow shooters at CSRA. If I could run fast enough may be my score will improve, just need more exercise... practise ...exercise....practise. :D

Haha - I didn't notice my sunburn till like 8, when I figured out the bottom half of my face was all red ;)

Yeah, my redneck is starting to come in too.

What's the battle rifle memorial match in November?

Anything with irons and greater caliber then 223 is good to go. M14s, Enfields, mosins, etc.

Same course of fire. Last year we had a pile of people at it, so we ran a reduced course of fire out to 3, but this year, we may run it over 2 days, and do a slightly modified course out to 5 or something like that.

Ya was definatley worth the trip from Sask. Thanks Sean and the rest for a good time. My GF got some pics so il post them when I have some more time. I have to find some people around here to shoot Service rifle with.

Let me tag that video for ya. :)

Coincidentally I am working on a youtube video of my own right now.
Just had to jump on here to post a still-frame from about half way through.

Today's conditions were pretty hairy. Mosquito fest for the first 2 relays, big rainfall for the third. When I was out there with them for the rain relay, it was clear it was knocking the shooters around, but everyone kept going.

Good work guys. Colin and I sure had to deal with lots of rain (and mosquitos when it wasn't raining) on Saturday sight in. Too bad I couldn't make the match. Stupid work!
