I started looking forward to this year's shoot on the way home from last year's shoot.

We'll be bringing:
CZ 527 .204 Ruger
Tikka T3 .223rem
CZ 452 American .22LR
CZ 452 16" .22LR
Mossburg 500 12 guage

To those who haven't come before you'll be well served with just a non scoped .22, better with a scoped .22. Bring the big stuff just for fun if you have the room.

I was thinking... Since we had a generator last year maybe someone could bring a coffee urn. I'm sure everyone would appreciate having coffee available all morning.

My list of things that are necessary. Tarps, firewood, drinking water and tons of ammo. Oh, and coffee. I like coffee.

As we approach the weekend, anyone who RSVP's and confirms their attendance via PM, (I'll issue a statement closer to the date) will recieve a map they can print out. Don't worry, we're not in a top secret testing facility, once you know how to get there, it's easy to find.

Yah, just turn right at the tree that isn't there anymore, drive for a bit until you see the sun in your rearview mirror, and then the hill should be visible and you can stop.

No, not there. There.

Simple really.

trying to get the chief to say yes, i drop her off at the inlaws in ottawa and i keep heading west! if i can make it, it will the longest drive im sure! guns and a tent, and some grumblies to keep me going!

I intend to be there and so far have an extra seat in the car, hopefully I'll be able to convince someone to come along as it's one hellova drive.

Will <probably> bring 2 x .22's (one is scoped, one isn't) with about 1K rds each along with the 12ga with about 100 rds should "area supression" become necessary.

Also minimal camping gear (I intend to sleep in my car, as I usually do on road trips).

I'm not very mobile but it sounds like finding targets in the sub 200yds range should not be much of an issue anyway.

I think we have one of those big urns somewhere. I'd have to check in the multitudes of boxes downstairs. If I can find it, I'd be happy to bring it along.

If it's anything like last year just follow the deep squirrelly tracks in the mud road.

Shortly after leaving last year's shoot I had to stop at a truck wash (had to fit the trailer in there). It cost me $35 to use the pressure washer to clean the mud out of my wheels. They were so out of balance i though tthe truck was going to fly.

well if someone brought a generator that would be a godsend, then i can use my convection oven to have my morning croissant, instead of half cooked hotdogs like the rest of you barbarian bumpkins.

I will be there again for sure.. since it is family gotta go right?? plus it is well away from the archery shoot up here.

Will have the 10/22 - .17HMR - .223 maybe the 12ga, 29ga, 6mm & the bowtech.

Oh it will be me + 1 for the shooting.. though I think the wife & kiddo will be along as well for a fishing day with my sister.

If things go well I will be parking a trailer... stay there instead at the parents this time.

and i'll bring croissants.

mmmm.....fresh croissants......

Special thanks to Farmer Harv for the Pm to come and check out this thread.
I was so excited that I clicked the "Yes I am coming" button and then checked the work schedule...:(
I apparently go on call the day before it all starts. I will of course move heaven and earth to make it work though. But trying to switch weekends with one of the other guys, on a long weekend to boot... Pretty tough!

That said I will be bringing my trusty old 10/22 (did I have the new barrel and stock last year?)
My .22 WMR, hopefully with a new stock. A new to me 22-250 Rem that seems to like to make P.F.C's out of rabbits, can't wait to try it on gophers!
And that (again) trusty old 7MM08 that liked the 300 yard popcans so much last year:D

Oh and Rum, some stuff to eat if I remember, and a Skidoo suit. Just in case this shoot really is cursed! Lol.

Really hope I can get the time off!

Right now we're sitting at appox. 24 "confirmed" attendee's. We're going to cap it off around 40 heads. If you wan't in, speak up now and make arrangments to go. If you can't make it, say so so there will be room for others.

Given the weather situation last year, I'm thinking about renting a trailer for the weekend this year....maybe even stretch it out a couple additional days.
