2011 CGN Saskatchewan gopher shoot. Thanks to everyone for coming!

Ok guys. Fill me in here. Do we need to bring firewood, or are some of you going to have a wack of it cut already ? It's no problem to bring it, but that'll take up a lot of room in an already small truck box and we'll have to find a small trailer. If there's trees there to cut, I've got a nice Husky 18" chainsaw and a decent splitting axe....of course, we won't be leaving Edmonton until around 5pm on the 30th.

Oh...I don't suppose anybody would have a set of GPS coordinates for the campsite would they ??? :D I'd like to have sort of an idea of the drive time from Edmonton.

And fireworks...can't forget the fireworks. Is this a family, Canadian consumer grade type display that we're allowed, or do you want some home made-we're in the middle of nowhere-nobody can see us-nobody will care-type stuff ? :D I don't want to bring anything that will get us in trouble with either cousin Ernie OR the neighbours.

If you can't bring wood don't worry about it. If anyone can squeeze some in it's appreciated but not required. As for the coordinates and other details PM captain2k_ca. He'll give you a list of what's allowed and what's not. We'll keep the coordinates off the thread to keep the masses of groupies away.
 
and if you got it Cadpat is the colour of the day........right pharaoh2.....actually he really enjoys any type of camo colours and as he is one of the organizeres I would hate to see him dissapointed:evil::D
 
Cmon! I just did it ONCE!! That helo was a favor called in from a top secret govt program that is in place....well, that more than I should say about that....
