2011 IPSC Ontario Provincials

I was not terribly good, and I learned my reloads were a little too light for my .45ACP (175.6 power factor... teaches me to skimp on powder, it put me in minor) but it was tons of fun regardless. I have a few videos of me for people who didn't get to go, or who want to see an ameteur shooting. (Compared to the shooters there today at least! Some real pros were in attendance.)

You are still in Major (170 PF minimum).

Did you do a typo in this post and meant 157.6 PF???

If not, appeal it ASAP but not sure of the procedure after the fact, possibly call Rachel at the match today (Sunday)... don't get ripped off especially if this is your first Provincial match.

Probably a typo, I will check my scorecards tonight. I know I got bumped down when I did the chrono, it was just a few points too low for major iirc.

This was my first Provincial match, and only my fourth ever IPSC match.

That steel match was hard. Steel everywhere!
The truck shoot was also one of the more memorable shoots. Very cool.

A huge thanks to everybody who helped out, came as vendors, or even cooked! A great time was had by all!

Kevin M.

I suppose people should post the videos after the match is over just to be fair...;)

The offiical results would have been posted at the match an hour before the tear down could start so no doubt they are just going over a few tidbits before posting them to the site.

Can't wait, my match was pretty inconsitent but my 3rd on a couple of stages has held up on the provisional results so far so I'm hoping the crappy stages don't drag me down too much (but they will)........

Kingston Crew thanks for your excellent job on making Provincials happen.
Bernie, see you at Nationals ;)

Just what Peter said. Thanks to the match crew!

It was great to see so many sponsors at the match. They provide a huge support to the sport and we can't thank them enough.

Also, congrats to all the winners. The usual suspects, provincial champions :dancingbanana: and all the category and class winners!

PS: I will post the official results as soon as I will receive them.

Do you think it will be available tonight or else I am going to sleep :D

Great time.

I try to never miss the Ontairo provincials; it's always worth the flight and hotels and rental car fares. This one was again well worth it.

Had a great time at the match;

Got so shoot with a a great bunch of people on my squad.
The Officials did an excellent job as did thier helpers and I definitely won't forget the soldiers doing so much patching. Thanks to Rachel, Bernie and Mark - nice job!

Just hanging around was great as I got to talk to so many new faces, and see people I haven't got to talk to this year.

I can't wait to return to Kingston for the nationals next month.

Sean.

The match was indeed great fun, even while shooting in the rain. My sincere thanks to all the match staff for the weeks and months of hard work setting this match up and running it like clockwork. I really don't know how you do it. Can't wait for the Nationals.

Also, a special nod goes out to the members of our Canadian military who helped out so much with the grunt work. Their professionalism and ethic makes me proud that we have such people serving our nation. And the look on some of their faces when they got the chance to shoot an Open gun after the match was definitely worth the price of admission! I know they are not likely surfing on CGN but I know that our collective gratitude will be passed along.
