Love my Marlin. Had to tweak the trigger a bit, but it was workable.

Accuracy is the big thing, along with lower noise signature, and less than half the price of 17 HMR ammo. A very effective little cartridge, but much under-rated by the more velocity crowd.

Almost everyone who has tried a few shots with mine is rather impressed as to what the little thing will do.

You forgot the CZ 452, H & R Sportster, Browning BL17

Marlins are great, except the trigger.
The CZ's are even better.

HM2's would have sold like hotcakes if gun stores offered try outs.

I have a Sako quad combo, and one of the barrels is .17M2. It has seen very minimal use.
