2011 Ontario Provincial IDPA Championship.

Its all been said but kudos to geoff and the frpc team and sos for all the work it takes to make a great event. I do think it was ###ist to put the only women SOs in the kitchen scenario but other than that a great day! Lol.

As a newbie to IDPA, many thanks for all the hard work from the team at FRPC and the larger group of volunteers from around and about for making this match run so smoothly.

The atmosphere was friendly and encouraging at this match, which should be the goal for any shooting competition.

I will be back for other IDPA events, especially if the guys from TMC will tolerate a wheel gun in the crowd. I had more fun on this squad than I have had for a long time at an action pistol match, so a special thanks also to these particular bottom feeders (as in pistol shooters) for enduring the wheel without complaining.

Anytime! You are a pleasure to shoot with even if you can beat this bottom feeder with your wheel gun! Remember you owe me a beer. :D

Yep was a great few days at the range.
Shot well on friday, ROing was fun first Major match I have been an RO. Ill have to try next time not to RO a stage where I have to do a 25M dash 125 times!!!
But fun day for sure.
Well done to Geoff for the match and Ryan from SFRC for the grand prize

Just curious, but is there a breakdown of the pistols used?

Most used single model was one form or another of 1911 followed by G17.

Glock was the largest manufacturer on the line, followed by CZ, then S&W.

The top shooter was running a 1911 platform.

55% of the shooters ran commercial ammo.
The reloaded ammo easily made Div PF, only one shooters reloads failed chronograph.

Geoff.

Time for a course????:D

Basta*d!
I was going to honor your placing...but not now!
What would it be worth to you for me not to let people know that I have taken extensive training from you?
Sort of like when Butch Harmon offered to refund Charles Barkley's $, if he would never admit to having taken any lessons from him......
Ooops! My bad...I thought I had sent this as a PM!

But seriously....Congrats on you winning your division!
I always knew that you weren't as lame as you seemed!:p

Tritium puts on great courses. He's very knowledgeable, very skilled (as proved this weekend) and has a great delivery. He makes the course material very accessible to everyone who is there, no matter what the skill level.

But.... he really is as lame as he seems. :D

Excellent match! I can't remember a match that was as much fun to shoot as that one. Thanx to Geoff, all the crew and to the sponsors that made it possible.

Working on it.

I suspect there's a lot of pictures. I was thinking that it might be simple just to put them all in an album together on photobucket that way people can scroll through them as they wish.

It would save you the time of having to post each individual picture here. Just my $0.02 :D
