2011 Western Canada F-Class Championship

Question for the shooters - I am driving down from Prince George tomorrow, and driving past the Homestead Range on the way to Pincher Creek. Visiting a buddy there for a couple days until Thursday morning when I drive back up for registration.

I am towing a tent trailer, and it would be nice to leave it near the range/north side of Calgary rather than towing it the extra hours to Pincher Creek and back. Does anyone know of a person/place where I could leave it for those two days?

Thanks, it would simplify the trip.

Park it beside my trailer rick.

Its the one on the far side from the road by the steel fire ring

I also have your BCRA card in my wallet.

If this past weekend is any indication of the conditions we will encounter next weekend, be prepared for a fistful of fun. :)

Just think of the gentle breezes to be encountered when it's 5-10 degrees warmer! The new flags were great in identifying new sources of amusement from the mound.

Forecast still looks good on 3 different web sites!

Yup, even got to help put up 2 more of the "confusion poles" at the 500m mound.

I think that's why I did so well on the 300m portion....no flags to look at and second guess myself. LOL

Have fun out there this weekend. I can not make it do to work. This should be entertaining. Next year. Should be out to Homestead for the palma match in September (I have holidays). Good luck to every one, Piper.

It's too bad you can't make Don. We'll miss you out there! But good luck with your new job, and we'll have a couple wickey's just for you.
Cheers

Too bad I had to leave to run the Driller's here in SK. and too bad I missed some of my friends who were not there on Thursday for the weight in and sight in. Best of luck to all of you and let us know the results day by day if you could, nothing Fancy, just who is leading and maybe some weather or wind reports :)

They do have the nicest poles in the country ;)

The Thursday sight-in was a gentle introduction to the flatlanders that have joined us on the hill we call Homestead. A total of 34 competitors (I'm PO'd at the 2 confirmed that did not show up and happy with 1 walk-on) were on the range.

Day 1 weather started @6C and finished @20C, had some twitchy winds (5 MOA Left to 3 MOA Right), intermittent clouds, sometimes readable mirage, and constantly lie-ing flags. We ran 2 relays of 3 per target at 800m (twice) and 900m (twice). Of 300.60 possible, the results are:
