2011 Western Canada F-Class Championship

So I won't have the $$ to send out before May 15....I guess I don't get a shirt? How about a $15 discount?

Month and a half lead to get shirts made up? Hmmmmm

Since it is looking like this may not even make the minimum entrants by the May 15th date it might be a moot point anyway.

You can count me as an entrant but still won't have $$ til after that date.

Richard

Relax Richard ... we'll get the minimum. Just not sure on the latest numbers until Colin gets back and checks his mail.

As for the 6 weeks on shirts, that includes having them ready a couple weeks in advance plus waiting a week for the mail to come in in May to be sure Canada Post doesn't have any oops. That's the incentive for early registration I guess. We'll do what we can, but having 40 done then another 10 just adds to the price of both.

If I'm not mistaken, the BW is the one across from a Tim Hortons. I have stayed there and it was fine. I will camp on the range with the Kamloops Hillbilly contingent.

The Kamloops hillbilly contingent needs to pull up there panties and send in there registrations. As for anyone else who is going to need a hotel, i will look into getting some AMA pricing or something of that sort. It will be at one of our local hotels in Cochrane, they are all pretty clean.
As far as the deadline goes,we have over 22 shooters so far,and we have ordered shirts for many more than that. Its just very difficult to organize food, target pullers, prize table etc. when everyone waits until the last minute to register. So thank you to all, who have sent them in early.
If the weather holds out for us, it should be a great time shooting with everyone, and great competition as per usuall.
cheers!!!

I don't wear panties, I wear a leopard skin banana hammock, and we Kamloops good ol' boys will teach you 'berta squealers a whole new meaning to the term "Tar Sands". As a matter of fact, I AM bringing a banjo.

Well this is none too soon, but here are the hotels in Cochrane.
The Best Western will be 129.00/day,like all of these hotels they have breakfast, pools, clean etc. But it is nearly booked up for these dates. Phone# 403-932-1410
The Days Inn & Suites is 119.00/day, has all the ammenities as well, and they have rooms for now. Ask for the fullbore rifle club, give them my name(Eric Bisson),and group code#CG306. Phone#403-932-5588.
The Super8 Cochrane is 125.99/day,also clean etc. but nearly booked up for that weekend. Phone# 403-932-6355.

All of these hotels are clean and a two minute walk to the Tim Hortons, Smitty's, A&W, Boston Pizza, Prairie smoke etc. IT is also an easy 35 minute drive to the range. Anyone wanting to stay in Canmore or at the Stoney Nakoda lodge and casino, they are also great chioces just a little further and i don't have any pricing so your on your own!!!C
Cheers

Eric, if we talk real nice to Peter Papasideris, we might be able to rent his Hobbsmobile, should be able to squeeze 5 / 6 in there.
Cheers, Glen

That option seems to have left the gate Glen - Peter sold off the portable palace, but it does open up some tarp space for those willing to feed the mosquitoes at night!

Rooms are indeed running low. I also booked at the Days Inn. I got a corporate rate for less then the $120/day so if the groups rate doesn't work out, that is another option.

I talked to a really nice person by the name of Joyce.

I don't think i would bring up the Hobbsmobile for now, that might bring up a little hostility!!
Have a safe trip back from Portland, and swing by the house if you get a chance.
cheers
