The 2012 America Match will be held August 15th at Camp Perry in Ohio. This will be preceded by 4 days of individual events, August 10th is a practice day and August 11th to 14th is the NRA Long Range Matches. I have been asked to be the Captain for the F Class Team to the America match. I am looking for shooters who would be interested in being a part of the team. Overall the team will consist of up to 15 people with 4 FTR shooters and 4 F Open shooters and 3 coaches. An expression of interest is not a commitment, but I need to know who may be able to make this match, the final selection of the shooters for the America Match will be made at Camp Perry. I will send more information to those interested in attending.
There is some fundraising going on but the major portion of the cost will most likely be borne by the shooters, typically a shoot like this costs about $150 to $200 for the individual shoots and practice, I am not sure of the cost of the actual America Match at this time.
The shooting at Camp Perry is during their Annual Matches and getting rooms may be an issue, If you are planning on attending please let me know soon as I plan to book some accommodations. I need to know if you would be coming along or with your spouse. Looking at either motels or perhaps some cottages or condos.

Hi Bruce,
Count me in.So at least the "Old & Ugly" will be there.
Lets see if we can shake up the status quo and get some additional "new blood"
as well as some of the regulars to join in.
F Class has not been shot at Perry since 1976 if I remember correctly and being
up at this end of the US within a reasonable drive,we should be able to put
together a decent group to attend.
As it sits on top of the ORA Provincials,am willing to miss it for the chance to shoot Perry.
Great chance for anyone to shoot a world class range and enjoy a piece of history.

Well, I met recently with Dale and yes, I am planning to go to Perry, to shoot and do some shopping of course.

Count me in. As Matt pointed out, might also have to drop CFRC, Connaught.
