2012 Fallow Buck

I had seen this guy whilst hunting with a newbie an tried to get him in on the shot, he was too slow an i had the scope on his shoulder an safety off... i didnt shoot!
after kicking myself later after the hunt i claimed i wasnt goin to shoot another buck but him!
over the next 2 weeks i run into him an his does an was busted by the girls!

having put in so much time, hunting basically every day i was doubting weather i would see him again, today he an i met again, this time from 200 in a clearing, after waiting what felt like 10minutes (about 1) for him to walk out of some shrub, i dropped the hammer on the 270 yet again, Connecting with the buck high shoulder an exiting the neck!

I personally only hunt Sambar, Fallow an now i guess you can say Red Deer, further around Aus we have Rusa, Chital/Axis and Hog deer, All Free Ranging no game ranch B/S, although i believe there is a couple of game ranches in Aus, there is simply no need for me to even think about goin to one.

The 6 Deer are the Grand slam, Im not too interested in the Grand slam though My Cousin is i think only a Hog deer away from it, Hoggys are by far the hardest but il leave that for someone else another rainy day

We also have feral goats an wild dogs & pigs around, plus in the Red outback there is more pigs, Camels, donkeys, scrub bulls, buffalo an GEEZ i cant think off top of my head right now!

Its pretty good place to hunt/fish/live

thanks for all the Replies! this has been on amazing 3 weeks for me, with the red stag an this buck, i'l never forget 2012 rut season, an the heads on the wall will never let me forget!
