My son and I went out to a new spot out by Hanna today. Dispatched around 100 (lost count after a while). Small ones aren't out there yet, so we'll have to go back in a couple weeks to check on this Spring's crop. First time out this year - it was like finally being able to reach an itch that you couldn't scratch!

I need lots of range time too.. luckily I don't need to reload very much if any.. got lots left from last year..

With bear season on hard, I won't have much time to get to the range anyway

I had the weirdest dream about a bear last night. Some woman was standing there beaking off to me for somthing when I noticed her husband, son and dog running away from a grizz in the distance. There were alot of people around and I lost sight of them until I saw the bear jump on her husbands back like a cougar. He was standing there trying to get it off so I threw up my '06 but everytime I was going to shoot people kept getting in the way. I kept shouting at them to move and then I finally was in the clear so I emtied my mag at the bear. I lost sight of them again until the guy was driving all over the hills in his pick up. I've got to stop drinking before bed...

That trailer I brought last year was on its maiden voyage for us. Pretty sure the wife is going to let me bring it again this year. Also have a gen set this year.

Now I just have to get some shells loaded!
 
So my daughter is thinking about coming out, but she wants to know if there will be any other kids her age. She's 15 and a bit leery of "giving upo" a long weekend with her friends to hang out with dad...
Anyone else bringing their kids?
